George Wickham Millar ("Miller" is a misspelling) arrived in Port Chalmers from Boston, Massachusetts, aboard the whaling ship William Tell sometime in the mid-1840s. After jumping ship, he hid out with local Kai Tahu until the William Tell left port. He was married to Susan Dow. -- Other burials recorded at this site: William D MILLER (sic) d. 1904.
