JEAN FORSYTH DUNCAN ( nee MOLLISON) 1856 – 1922 Jean’s Family the Mollisons were drapers in Dunedin. The Mollison building where their business was located was on the south east corner of George and Frederick Streets. It is good that when the Westpac Bank purchased the site with a view to rebuilding that they preserved the impressive facade which is in full view to traffic moving down Pitt Street from Maori Hill. Jeannie and Peter were married on the 4th of December 1878. She died in 1922 aged sixty-six. |
