Margaret Sarah Dowle was born 15 April 1847 at Woolaston, Glouchestershire, England and died 16 February 1928. Her second husband, William Dowle, was born 7 September 1841 in England and died 9 September 1930 in Dunedin. Her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Eleanor Duncan, was born 30 August 1871 at Woolaston and died 1 July 1928 in Dunedin. Her youngest daughter, Laura Victoria Beattie was born 7 April 1887 at Waipori and died in Dunedin in 1980.
