EDMUND ALEXANDER DUNCAN 1884 – 1947 Alexander Duncan was a solicitor in Dunedin, a partner with his elder brother Frederick Duncan Sr. in the family legal firm. He attended the Kaikorai School and Waitaki Boys High School. He was married to Ann Robertson Duncan. Alex owned an apple orchard at Ettrick. Alex and Ann’s great granddaughter Kate Stevely was a New Zealand Springboard Diving Champion. Alex died on 1st October 1947 aged sixty-four. |
